GOOD (super late) EVENING MAHDEARS! Slash Happy Indulgence Friday!!! How are ya?
I am currently watching Red Riding Hood (love Amanda Seyfried) with the fam whilst blogging. It is sooo good. Gotta love cinematic symbolism.
So basically, I’m a ‘Cuse girl now.
Needless to say, my grad party was a blast. Being the perfect hostess that I was, I completely forgot to start taking pictures until it was almost over. Nice one, Katelyn. Although, tons of people came so I was glad to have almost all of the food eaten!
The food was fan freaking tastic. BUT I am going to be a tease and post those recipes tomorrow Hehe.
Tonight I am going strictly talkative about graduation and all that craziness.
Graduation, to say the least, was amazing. It was beautiful, in the Eastman Theatre (epic), and we had the best speakers in the world. Three of my classmates gave speeches, and they were so inspirational and moving. Fat and Mark, if either of you are reading this, I hope you both become motivational speakers on day. Namely you Mark. Nice beatboxing!
Then, the inventor of the digital camera gave our commencement speech. He talked about the fact that if we see the impact that we would like to have, no matter how big or small, you can do it. That especially moved me because my dreams are so great — to change the way people my age and of all ages eat, think, and exercise. It’s a huge feat, but I’m already in the works of some things that may get me there soon. Any guesses?
Afterwards, we took the cliche graduation pictures
Natch, we headed to The Owl House after tons of chatting, hugs, and squeals with mah girls and guys. Who cares that it was after 10 pm? We were hungry!
We begun with some house-made pickled veggies (so good):
And then I had the Garden Salad.
Then I got the Lentil Burger, as uge. I got it with the gluten-free Teff Bread. So sweet, so delicious…so perfect. We obviously had to order some dessert, so we ordered two Raw Chocolate Mousse’s and one Mango-Lime Rice Pudding. Delish.
No pictures cause I’mma freak like that.
Today was spent going to three grad parties, and before that hitting up the gym with the couseens. Dinner was fantabulous. I am so freaking stuffed. We grilled everything in the house, from veggies to corn to salmon to shrimp with pineapple. So good. Loads of Eco Bella baked goods and homemade cookies were consumed afterwards, including some gift giving and receiving. One great thing about graduating — they give you tons of money and presents and it’s not even your birthday!
More on presents and RECIPES tomorrow!! Get pumped people, and bring your notepads. It’s going to be a doozy.
