Bring ‘Em Out: Spotify!

Goooood morning mah loves! How are you doing?

It made me happy to hear that most of you have manfriends that do the dishes for you. Can I just say you are a bunch of LUCKY girls? One day I will be so lucky. One day.

Today I am going to start a little series called Bring ‘Em Out. Basically, I’m going to find all of my favorite apps, workouts, foods, whatever and BRING ‘EM OUT! Got it?

First up is my latest and greatest app find: Spotify.

As described, “Spotify is a new way to listen to music. Millions of tracks, any time you like. Just search for it in Spotify, then play it. Just help yourself to whatever you want, whenever you want it.”

So basically you’re telling me I can get free music to listen to whenever I want. Broke college student radar currently going off. #winning

You need to request an invite in order to get the program, but it rocks enough to wait for. I literally signed up to get an invite and had one within a few hours. I’m not sure how long that will last, so sign up while you can!

I like to think of it as being similar to Pandora, but you get to choose and change songs as you please, and even scanning through them like in iTunes. Uhhhh does it get any better than that? Not really.

Sure, there are ads, but I’d much rather have an ad every five to ten songs than have to listen to stupid shit I’d rather skip. Just sayin.

So long story short, sign up for Spotify ’cause it’s free and I said so. You can thank me later.

————————————————————————-

Now onto biznazz. Yesterday was spent waking up WAY too early, and hungry for the first time in like a week. I’ve been waking up feeling like I have a rock in my tummy. Not usual for this girl. So when I FINALLY woke up hungry yesterday it was like a miracle from the sweet baby Jesus. Cookie Dough Bowl was had.

And wait — what is that? Katelyn, you were still hungry? Yeah I was.

What the heck is wrong with me.

So then like five Larabars later, I went to babysit and was so tempted to have a Greek yog but I didn’t. Chels, please be my therapist on this issue.

When I got home I ate every veggie in sight because I knew I probably wouldn’t want veggies for the rest of the day. I’m telling you, I don’t know what was wrong with me.

I had a typical lunch, WHATEVVAAA, and then I was like dude, I gotta eat. Cookies were made. Dough was eaten (about half of it mind you). Cookies were eaten. Chocolate chips were consumed. WHEW! FINALLY FULL! Jeez lousizus. Mother Nature is a beeyotch.

———————————————————————————————

Hahahahha wanna hear a funny story? I’ll tell you anyway.

Yesterday I logged onto Facebook to find a Facebook comment from this girl. Love you.

I got the notification on my Droid and the Madre had to ask me what was so funny because she thought she had done something silly. Nope, wasn’t you Mama :)

Maybe it’s the fact that my language isn’t always um, family-appropriate on the bloggy but at least I believe honesty is the best policy <3

This girl is off to enjoy the sunshine. Have a rockkkin day mahboos! Keep your eye out for a giveaway tomorrow ;)

What’s your favorite app as of late?

If you say Angry Birds, I don’t know if we can be friends anymore. Just kidding I’m probably just as obsessed as you are.

Tell me a funny hunger / PMS story :)

Make me laugh!

Me, a full jar of peanut butter, my period. Let's just say not only was that jar completely gone by the end of the day, but I had started on another one.
Enough said.

I get so hungry periodically and on random days. I think it is mostly when I don't work out actually. HA. How about you mail me a cookie dough bowl and I'll mail you pancakes?

well my favorite app has been rdio, another music one, but it's $10 a month… so maybe spotify should replace rdio! i also really like SimpleResize… I use it to resize my iphone pics to blog size before emailing them to myself. it's quick and saves me from that step when setting up the blog posts!

That Spotify thing sounds amazing! A funny hunger story for me is being a raisin addict like you and the song Addicted to Money came on my ipod so I made up my own rap saying "I'm Addicted to Raisins"! lol. I know I'm so hood.. ;)

I totally heard about Spotify a few days ago and forgot to get it. Herp derp. Actually the same thing happened with Google+
Also Instagram is the greatest thing ever. If only my phone was working atm :( <– more like :''('''''''
I'm trying to keep my blog as clean as possible, because I'm terrified that some of the schools I'm applying to are gonna find it and be like WUUUT unacceptable *take back any chance of acceptance.* Then I'd really be all :''('''''''
Do you have a fave larabar? My fave is the coconut cream pie one. I went to get groceries today and just HAD to get one. I kind of wish the PB & J one was better, though. Oh well :)

What's your fav Larabar? I had my first last week- a coconut cream pie. Won't lie, I wasn't really a fan.

The newest app I got is the Tumblr app as I'm thinking about switching my blog to it…

Woooo just signed up for an invite!! I HATE when Pandora tells me to skip songs. Who are they to tell me what I wanna listen to?? And I was rockin' PMS HARD last week, there were tears involved. My favorite part was when the bf oh-so-kindly pointed out that I had eaten 1800 calories worth of dark chocolate covered cranberries. NO ONE should be allowed near TJ's at that time of month! Luckily the reminder wasn't what caused the tears. In fact, I went on and devoured some of his dark chocolate covered espresso beans.
