Did you see today’s Daily Sprinkle? Go check it out. It might save your life tonight. (and yes, I’m being serious)
Yesterday I drove home on the longest car-ride of my life. I literally think my brain turned to mush with the number of trees I stared at out the window. When I came home, I was feeling like crap. I’m generally not an unhappy person (as you all know), so when I found myself almost crying I had to re-assess what was going on. I’m not going to get into it, but life is never easy and I had to talk a few things out with my best g-frand. When it was 1am, her mom decided I had to sleep over because she was worried about me driving so late. Well, if you insist!
YouTube has no limits.
I woke up early this morning with the intention of going to yoga class with Sarah, but apparently I don’t know how to pump gas — a guy in a cowboy hat had to do it for me. We were 15 minutes late and didn’t get parking. Obviously we had to go over to Barnes & Noble and read magazines.
Gaga on the cover of Vanity Fair. I’m a fan. Artistic genius belongs on the cover of a magazine dedicated to everyday (and not-so-everyday) style and knowledge.
I also got a bunch of other magazines, and found some wonderful style examples. Excuse me as my photo quality goes from DSLR to Droid.
An article about fashion bloggers in I BELIEVE Vogue or Vanity Fair. I could be wrong, correct me if you find it elsewhere. This was a fascinating article that took a more serious spin on many fashion bloggers such as The Sartorialist. I loved reading about the authors themselves, their style, their lives, and their love for photography.
This image was (I’m pretty sure) in Vanity Fair as well. I love the pairing of the fedora with the light fabrics and colors. This is a look that is both colorful and shape-flattering, despite the airiness of the pieces. High-waisted, wide-legged pants are a great spin on the classic business trouser.
Above, Kate Moss with some of her young bridal party and groom. The style of this wedding was so unbelievably delicate and fairy tale-like. Vogue did a wonderful representation of their event in their annual Best Dressed Special Edition.
That’s all for now loves. I’m off to get some dinner, finish my ‘do, and head out for New Year’s.
Have a safe night!
What are you wearing for New Year’s Eve?
