Happy Groundhog Day!!!!!! Punxsutawney Phil says HELLO.
Typical Groundhog Day activities. According to the big furry man, we’re only going to be having six more weeks of winter. BOOM daddy! This girl is excited.
You know what else I am excited for? Rock the Dome tonight.
Luda + Rick Ross, at my service. I’ve got a first level ticket and I plan on taking full advantage.
Boom, rock it. I expect it to be as amazing as Juice Jam and DayGlow. Almost.
Depending on how not alive I am, I might (probably will) leave early. I need my beauty sleep. Beeeeecause the second weekend of rush starts tomorrow. I’ve gotten a lot of great outfit recommendations from recruitment veterans, and I’m kind of making a melting pot of all of them. It’s fine, I’ll just be a one-woman closet.
Think about how many hangers you could fit in that dress. Think about it.
Besides that fact, I skyped with Chris Brogan today. I mean it’s fine. It’s not like he makes enough money in a year to pay for my college education times eight and has one of the largest social media followings on the planet.
We read Trust Agents for a social media class I’m taking (if you see my extensive amounts of tweets with the #RotoloClass hashtag, this is it), and we get to meet some pretty kick-butt people. Like Chris.
He really likes mugs and coffee and “keepin it real” — Chris, let’s be best friends. Kaaaaay cool. He also thought I was a real chef, which I am not. I think I should add “I am not a chef” to my Twitter bio. Yes?
Some main points we covered:
- Making your own game (that’s a given)
- Caring about others as much or more than you care about yourself, and making it obvious
Point #3 — highly important in communicating with others. With that being said, be nice. Nice always wins. You can see the highlights of our chat here.
How are you celebrating Groundhog Day? (winky face nudge nudge)
Highlight of your week?
What are you looking forward to this weekend?
Aaaaand the main event: Have you read Trust Agents + what did you think?
