I’m finally home. And this is what I found to welcome me.
Sweet life. Want to know the best part? That is only a small fraction of all of the goodies I have waiting for me to unpack. You would think I spent a year on a desert island or something.
After a long day of packing, moving, moving again, and unpacking (doesn’t it sound exhausting just thinking about it?), it was time for dinner. Times two. And finally, late night snacks because apparently lifting boxes makes a girl hungrier than you would think.
Above you see the classic: Millet bread toast with extra-virgin coconut oil and Himalayan sea salt. I know. Gettin’ all exotic and fancy on ya!
Now that I’m home, I’m finally able to get back into my yoga groove. This habit is awesomely magical and equally as expensive. Sorry, Mom and Dad. It’s for my own good. After class this morning, I downed a smoothie with two bananas, Sunwarrior, chia seeds, and almond milk. Starbucks classic on the side.
I was still hungry.
Thank God I have best friends who like to eat.
That would be Sarah. She really likes smoothies.
This dear friend of mine came home yesterday, so today was the day to reunite. Road trip to Geneseo was slightly spontaneous in the fact that we really only went to return her textbook. A day trip walking around downtown Geneseo and exploring delicious food happened. Both relaxing and delicious.
Andddd that would be my salad. Greek and sufficiently feta-sprinkled. Happy camper.
Above, course number two: My tuna sandwich that was made artsy with the use of Instagram. Those pickles were really good. Sweet at the beginning but then the spiciness kicks you in the butt right at the end. Mmmmm.
Thanks, Papa Jay. You’re the best. Your restaurant is really cute, too. (it’s the little things, people)
How did you spend your Friday?
Oh, dang! Just realized it’s Indulgence Friday. Please celebrate by having a small cookie for me. Please and shanks you.
Plans for the weekend?
Yoga at Lulu’s tomorrow morning, followed by a day at the Lilac Festival! Who wants a fried Oreo? (just kidding)
