It’s that time of year. I’m trying to get back in shape, and I’m kind of in shape, but I’d like to be in better shape. Now is the time for me to hit the beach, people, and I’d like to look fresh.
So, I introduce to you the Eat Clean, Sweat Dirty Challenge.
It’s not just for July. It’s for every day. The whole year. All 365-stinkin-days of it. You want to know why? Because we care about how we feel. How we look. And most of all, we care about our happiness.
Every day, I will be checking in with you on my clean eats and my sweaty, red-in-the-face workouts. I’ll be sharing all of them with you, so you can do them yourselves. I’m going to challenge myself to make myself sweat dirty every day. If I don’t have time to hit the gym, then I’ll be doing at-home moves and sharing them with you.
I’ll be eating yummy, and disgustingly simple, clean meals (and snacks!) that get me through the day, whether it’s waitressing or working on graphic design. A girl’s gotta eat, and I don’t skimp when I start craving. I’ll turn my cravings into healthy ones. Ahem, clean ones, and I won’t be restricting myself.

LOVE this!!!! i am so down!! i’ve been trying to eat cleaner lately since the previous few weeks have been sugar-filled, and so far i’ve been doing pretty well. but i could always use an extra kick in the pants!

This post is really inspiring! I don’t have a twitter (behind on the times, no?) but I’m all for (mostly) clean eating and DIRTY sweating! The best cure for anything is a good sweat session.

This is a great idea! I gained the Senior 15 (womp womp) right before I graduated, in 2011. I’ve lost about half but I’m no where near where I was when I started college. I’m getting on this bandwagon! Thanks for the inspiration.

Love this!! I just recently decided to start eating clean and I love it! I feel so much better giving my body fresh natural foods(that are delicious!) instead of proccessed stuff with who knows what inside. I started eating better and excercising more this past January after also gaining some unwanted weight my first semester of college, and then started trying to eat mostly clean when i returned home for summer break! So I know right where you are coming from and am totally in this challenge with ya! Love your blog! I’m the only one in my family eating clean so its nice to know someone else is making a somewhat tough lifestyle change and sharing their experiences for people like me!
