Two Really Embarrassing Stories. {You’re Welcome}

Readers, friends, bloggy babes, I have to say. I am so excited to have you all on board. I hope you’re excited, cause I’m really freakin excited.

Now it’s story time. Today was my last shift at work until about two weeks from now. I’m going on vacation! Starting Friday, I’ll be rockin the boat down in Virginia Beach with Grams, the fam, and most of all, bronzing a la playa.

I had to. Can’t wait.

Back to the story. I was so excited for it to be my last shift for a bit (hey, a girl needs a vacation sometimes, kay?). I got my paycheck, my tip-outs, and was almost done with my shift. We have door-windows that go from the inside out to the deck. I was delivering food to one of my last tables, and started walking, arms full of goodies. Lo and behold, I walked straight into the glass door that I swear was open five seconds beforehand. I guess not. Food flew in my face, plate shattered.

I am now the girl that walked into a closed door. And broke plates.

My tables were all really worried about my post-crash state, and gave me really good tips. I think they felt kinda bad. So, now I am at home, eating bananas with sunbutter (plural because I’m so hungry, and not real food because I’m working out soon), and drinking coffee.

Exciting news!

I woke up this morning and made half-caf coffee, thinking it would be a sneaky way for me to be able to have two cups without overdoing it on the caffeine, but I only ended up drinking one cup. Woah. This is a big deal. I was at a bonfire last night, so I only got 6-ish hours of sleep. Over here = champ status.

What happened to the second cup of coffee, you may ask? I mugged it up with me to bring in the car, and as soon as I started moving, it spilled all over my iPhone. Don’t worry guys, the mug is totally safe.

Are you excited for the challenge? I am so ready for Saturday to officially begin!

Tell me an embarrassing story!

xoxo,
Katelyn

Haha when I was a senior in high school I had broken my nose. I was recovering when my friend’s came over and wanted to see my prom dress. I was outside on the patio and was so excited to show my friends that I ran face first into the glass sliding glass door. I literally flew backwards, it was so painful at the time, but it’s hilarious now.

I’m thinking we should hang out when you are down here. Nothing beats froyo dates and also if you are going to be on the Eastern Shore-we go on a date to singrays…they have the best southern hillybilly salmon you’ll ever eat in your life.

When I was marching at Marine Barracks Washington, we did MANY rehearsals. One day, in the presence of 300 male Marines (I was the only female marching at the time), I missed my sword draw. Instead of fixing it myself, I had to stand perfectly still and wait until someone came out and got it for me. Sounds silly and not really that big of a deal, but trust me, it was embarrassing! Thank goodness it was just a rehearsal!

I definitely got prank phone called at work by one of my manager’s friends and ran around the office yelling, “Ally, Jack Meoff is looking for you. He said its really urgent, Jack Meoff needs to talk to you right now.” It didn’t click until the third time I said it. ;p

When I was in high school I went to Costco with my parents on a Saturday morning. My mom was buying a 3 lb box of blueberries. I picked said box up to put it on the checkout counter. The bottom of the box was not attached to the top of the box and I didn’t realize it. The bottom fell off and all 3 lbs of blueberries fell on the floor and very quickly covered a good 30 foot radius full of people at the check out. And here I was, standing in the centre of the circle with an empty box in my hands. I wanted to die.

Haha I was downtown to meet up with a couple of girlfriends and spotted them across the street. I ran over to them and we started walking on the sidewalk together – the three of us in a line. I was so busy looking at them and focusing on the conversation I didn’t notice when I walked smack bang into a parking metre. Thank goodness I’m tall-ish and was in heels, because otherwise that thing could have done some damage! As it was I killed my knee but it was a pretty funny moment. You kinda stand there and think “Did that just happen?”

one time in my waitressing days ,I spilt a sweet tea on a lady – clearly it was an accident, but she didn’t find it amusing, entertaining, or even view it as an accident. needless to say ,they didn’t feel sorry for me like your tables did and i didn’t get a tip. There is never a dull moment when waitressing, that’s for sure!

Yikes! Hah too funny. At least it makes for a good story! I’ve done many embarrassing things. Once at a party in front of about 50 people I was walking in and had to go down stairs, but they were really steep. I bailed all the way down them and ended up with a broken arm. Yep, took a while to live that one down and no one believe it was broken until I came to school with a cast on.

I was at a party a once and this guy (who was more than a little drunk) walked into a screen door, and took the whole door down with him. It was pretty funny and they did manage to get the door back up.

I worked at PetSmart last summer and while I was putting some returns away I ran straight into one of the cardboard sales displays and knocked the whole thing over, with lots of customers watching, that was a good day.
