#EatCleanSweatDirty: {What I’m Making}

Breakfasts look something like this.

And dinner looks something like this.

Firing up the grill! And firing up the salmon steaks.

dinosaur bbq wango tango spicy sauce

Everything could use a little heat, don’t you agree?

I had this last night after a killer weights workout over greens, with fruit + homemade balsamic on top. I was the last person at the gym. #KeepItReal and #MakeItHappen

This morning, I woke up and had my quinoa breakfast, and then headed over to my drawing class. Today was charcoal! We scanned our faces with copy machines and then used those to make portraits. I made a mess. When I got home, I wanted something refreshing and made a green juice.

Two cucumbers, 4 stalks of celery, a few cups of spinach, and lemon juice. Afterwards, I had an orange and a salmon steak from last night. YUM. Everything is so much better in barbecue sauce!

I’m off to Starbucks to get some freelance work done, and then I’ll be doing my first CrossFit WOD at a box tonight. I’m scared silly.

Any tips for the CrossFit newbie?

I’m obsessed with BBQ sauce too, but try to watch the portions with all the added sugar in most of them!

Mmm, salmon <3 Good luck with Crossfit tonight – I know you'll have a blast! No tips from me as I've never tried it either, but I can't wait to hear how it goes.

(PS: regarding your earlier post today, I don't know that a birthday cake would make it to you in one piece, but I'm sure a card would… Care to send me your address?)

Embrace the CrossFit. Be the CrossFit. na-na-na-na-na…

Seriously though. Just enjoy it. Don’t be nervous or anxious. It’s going to kick your ass and you’ll love every second of it.

Woohoo! CrossFit newbie! My suggestions are do your best to listen to coaches and ask any questions you have. Don’t be afraid to go slowly through your first time, and have fun!! CrossFit can be so much fun and so challenging, it is what you make it!

A CrossFit facility just opened in my town, and I just signed up for a free week trail, so excited! I’m seriously really nervous to be honest. Good luck, can’t wait to hear how it goes!

We did the scanner project in my drawing class. It was a fun assignment but my roommate was a little weirded out when I stuck my face in my scanner.

Good luck with Crossfit! I’ve been wanting to try it forever but I’m a little intimidated by it.

Salmon steaks are delicious! I also put bbq sauce on EVERYTHING…it’s a problem (if it’s wrong I don’t wanna be right!)
