{Artwork}: Charcoal Final and Work-in-Progress

Hi there! Happy afternoon! Lately I’ve been posting pictures of my artwork from my class to Instagram and Facebook, and I’ve been getting really great responses. Thought I would share them with you!

Charcoal Self-Portrait FINAL:

This is from when we stuck our faces in the xerox machine.

Charcoal Contour Still WIP:

Can you guess which objects are in the second piece?
What do you think?
Don’t be afraid to be critical!

The xerox picture came out really good! I hate drawing ears, they’re kinda awkward, but your’s looks really good. The shading came out really awesome too.

I struggle with charcoal because I just end up smudging it everywhere and getting finger prints on everything. I like pencils better =)

Wow, these are really good. I love doing art too – but I’m more into oil painting!

Wow, your self-portrait is amazing! I had no idea you were so good :) Your hair looks absolutely incredible. And it looks just like the real thing! I could tell it was you even before reading it was self-portrait, even though it was only the side of your face haha. That’s talent! ;)
