Yesterday, someone found this blog by searching for “olympic chicken”. I don’t have any of that yet, so I’ll make you some. “Chicken for the Olympian in You”, complete with a magic spell for super-human Ryan Lochte speed. Doesn’t that sound good?
Now onto birthday shenanigans.
Pre-birthday dinner yesterday. Hi! Jewelry were gifts from my friend Sarah.
Y’all, I am BLOWN AWAY by all of the Happy Birthday’s I got yesterday! Starting well before midnight, it was like you guys decided to throw your own party. I mean, hello, that’s awesome. I approve.
Ultimate birthday jam.
I woke up and made myself a giaaaaant protein pancake, the recipe I have yet to perfect, but was still SO. AWESOME.
Clearly topped with almond butter, chocolate, blueberries, and maple syrup. Notice how I forgot to take a picture until I was almost done. #HungryGirl
Then my drawing class headed out on a field trip, which I told Allen (professor) HAS to have been planned out because it was the best birthday field trip ever. We went around Rochester and looked at all of the murals that were painted by artists that they fly in every year to beautify our communities. This is an awesome thing.
I took about a thousand pictures, so keep an eye out for those. Mind. blown.
We stopped at Boulder Coffee, because it’s my favorite place.
Yerba Mate Latte with stevia. Magic.
Once I got home, I did some blogging and then got ready for dinner. With Lisa!
All dolled up. Same picture as above, but with X-Pro filter.
Real (read: better pictures from my big camera) of all the food are to come. Don’t fret, friends. Food porn is coming your way.
We had dinner…..
…and we had chocolate. So much better than cake. #Fact
Time for an internship phone interview! Wish me luck!
