Can’t Take Them Off.

These shoes. The Nike’s. Unreal.

I could wear these all day every day. I mean, I have been, to “break them in”. They’re totally broken in now. I just don’t want to take them off.

Yes, I even eat in them.

Volleyball? Irrelevant. My food? Important. Salad with spinach, sunflower seeds, tilapia, and homemade balsamic (oil & vin).

After wearing them for multiple days to the Box (to actually work out in them, which is what I guess they’re for), I am more than satisfied with my purchase. These have great, natural-feeling flexibility, and it literally just feels like gloves for my feet. Really, really comfy gloves.

I killed this workout in them:

Bench presses aren’t just for dudes, dudes. I feel so buff.

In case that doesn’t look like English, I recorded my reps alternating bench presses and pull-ups. I benched 55lbs, but I’m interested to see what my max rep is.

ScreenShot from myWOD — Lynne is a real beeyotch. I would have been totally satisfied if it weren’t for the mile run at the end, but every bit of sweat that leaves my body means I’m building more strength, and that makes me so excited.

How did you Sweat Dirty today?
Favorite // least favorite WODs // workouts?

p.s. Last day in New Hampshire! Traveling to Portland, Maine tomorrow. Any locals have recs for places to eat or fun things to do?

Nice work Katelyn! I’m loving the color of those sneakers! They really are super comfy! I’ve never done Lynne! I don’t particularly love pull ups or bench press though so it would be a great one for me to work on my weaknesses! I “sweat dirty” in CrossFit yesterday! Mondays are our strength day and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite days of the week!

Flatbread’s Pizza! In the Old Port area on Commercial St. So good, I think you’d enjoy it as it’s all organic and local ingredients, and cooked right in a brick oven which you can see in the restaurant! Also, GELATO FIASCO. Seriously, it’s so good… on Fore St. Haha… don’t forget to maybe stop by Trader Joes, too!

YES YUM. Are you a Portland reader??! And do you do CrossFit? I’m going to stop by at the local Boxes while I’m there :)

I’m a half an hour away from Portland! I don’t do CrossFit, however, through reading your blog I have become a little interested in it as I have zero upper body strength and feel like it would help me!

I’ve seen those shoes all over the blogging community….. I’m usually not a Nike girl, but I think I need to go try some on. Way to go on the workout! Yesterday, I ran sprints for 30 minutes after an arm workout and I thought I was going to die…..in a good way. ;) I posted my sprint workout today.

Love sprint workouts! I love these because they’re not “typical” sneakers. They’re like gloves for your feet. Literal. magic.

We did “Cindy” today and I really love that WOD, although my hands are killing me… I love that I can Rx it, and get a great arm/leg workout! I am thinking about ordering the Reebok Nano 2.0! But your Nikes are super cute :)

The workout I did today involved back-to-back walking dumbbell lunges and long jumps. Holy jump in heart rate!

I’m moving in a few weeks to a town that has a Crossfit box – definitely want to try it out!

I’ve been wearing my Mizuno Universals (soooo freaking minimal) but don’t think they are optimal for me. Those look awesome. As soon as I wear these babies out, I’m looking for suggestions so adding this to the list. I did get these Mizunos for free but…gotta save money where I can so no new ones for awhile!
