Buble, Selfies, Trader Joe’s Goodies + JOY.

Greens for the good. Of the bod.

So, I’m home. Sittin on da couch. Watching Michael Buble Home for the Holidays and quite seriously the happiest girl in the world.

Michael Buble, are you single? Would you like to sing me to sleep? Is that too much?

Sorry. I’m not sorry. Marry me. Now.

Selfies are good for the soul.

Anyway. I went to Trader Joe’s today and I have to say. The whole shopping part of Christmas baffles me a little bit. The effort that it took just to drive two miles to Trader Joe’s. Good lord. Why people decide to wait for hours in traffic, and then wait in line for hours at stores is beyond me. I thought it was common sense by now.

It’s called “ONLINE SHOPPING”. This beautiful thing where you can purchase items online and they are shipped to you. To your doorstep. And you don’t even have to drive anywhere. OMG.

Whoever invented online shopping. I would like to hug you and scold you at the same time. You make me poor.

But anyways. Some of my Trader Joe’s haul.

Sweet & Nutty Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

PEOPLE…. CHEESE BALL! WITH DESSERT-LIKE FLAVORS! My mind was semi-blown but I was also scared of this. So I didn’t buy it. Maybe next time. I could eat it with a spoon.

Trader Joe's Arrabiata Sauce

This, I actually purchased. I asked you all on Instagram what you thought I would be using it for. I got responses including: Pizza, meatballs, egg bakey things.

Wish it was pizza. Dang. Been wanting funny foods all week.

Meatballs was a good guess. Egg bakey things… are a possibility. I will try that out this week and see what kind of marinara boat I can float on.

Cool beans!!

This was dinner. Green beens = candy. I used this stuff to make the chicken more magical.

Trader Joe's Havarti Cheese with Dill

YUM. HAVARTI. How have I not discovered this before?? Perhaps I was cheese-prejudiced…wow. Rock I have been living under. Gone. And has dill. I like the dill.

Put on top of the marinara-doused chicken and let it melt for 10 minutes in the oven, then grated more before serving.

This stuff for dessert.

Don’t judge me. I like chocolate. So the more the merrier. This way I can eat half a bar and be happy. So very happy.

Also less sugar feels good for the bod. Madre told me I could buy whatever ice cream or “ice yogurt” (she is so cute) I wanted, but I took the higher road and got dark chocolate. Mmm. Next time I’ll get some ice cream just because I can.

Happy to be home for the holidays! Will be doing exciting things tomorrow like getting my oil changed. xo

Home for the holidays? What are your favorite activities? I like baking cookies! Will be doing so tomorrow. With real buttah. ;)
Christmas specials? Yay or nay? Tonight I watched both Blake Shelton and Michael Buble. Michael Buble has my heart.
What is your favorite holiday movie?! HANDS DOWN my favorite movie is The Santa Clause. It never has and never will get old. OMG. Could watch all day long.

Aww yay for being home! I’m glad you are enjoying your time with your mom! Baking cookies is pretty much the best part of Christmas :)

You know I keep hitting myself over the head when I realize I forgot something or need more of something because I really want to avoid the stores. But when you run out of toothpaste, you can’t ignore that. Or at least you shouldn’t. ;)

Enjoy your time at home! I find the holiday shoppers to be crazy! I’m working part time retail through the holidays and it is just the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. I will be sticking to online shopping myself from now on!

Havarti dill is my absolute FAVORITE! On whole wheat crackers.. Um yum! And that cheese ball looks dangerous.. I guarantee I would spoon that thing down ;)

I have GOT to go get that chocolate chip cheese ball. Too cool! I think it would go well with my sweet-salty cookies. Maybe I should make a cheesy chocolate shortbread cookie… mmmm…

Michael Buble is my man. I got so excited when he came on my Christmas Pandora station the other day.

Favorite Christmas movie? Elf!

Buble has my heart too. Did you eat the dark chocolate while watching Buble? Imagine the happiness that would bring :)
