Hey there! How are things?
Currently hangin in the apartment after an incredibly productive day. I accomplished everything on my to-do list but one thing. I feel like awesome.
Sipping on some yummy stuff – the Bolivian blend on the right. So good, and definite hints of caramel!
One of my trainers goes: “You’re lifting like crap today.” And I’m like, haha, oh thanks! And then he goes: “It’s probably cause you took a week off, all of your muscle turned back into fat.” OH WOW THANK YOU SO MUCH COACH.
Anyways. Today I did Invictus’ competition workout and I felt pretty good, although I can tell that my body isn’t quite back in the game yet. I did some heavy jerks with these babies:
I love them. Thank you, StrongerRx, for the incredibly cute (and functional) gloves!
I’ve been using them both for lifting and for ring work. They especially help with repeated movements, such as dips or ring pull-ups. Any way I can avoid ripping my hands (again) is a plus!
Let’s talk about how I eat omelettes. Every day.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m starting to get bored of them. I think I’ll have pancakes tomorrow.

Time to head out to CrossFit and then I have a double date tonight! Intriguing, no? I’m intrigued too, I’m being set up by one of my friends. Crossing my fingers that this doesn’t turn into a bad Valentine’s Day movie.
